Registered, licensed, and in formal standing

Every registration a procurement team checks before shortlisting a contractor in Sudan, held by AFE and documented below — click any document to view the scan.

What Each Registration Means

Four documents, four different assurances: professional membership, the license to contract engineering works, legal identity, and fiscal standing.

Registered contractor member, 2016

Sudanese Contractors Association

Membership of the Sudanese Contractors Association places AFE inside the recognized professional body for contracting firms in Sudan. Membership is granted to companies with demonstrated delivery capacity, and it is one of the standard checks procurement teams run when shortlisting bidders.

Registration No. 247

Engineering Contractors Council

Registration No. 247 with the Engineering Contractors Council authorizes AFE to carry out engineering contracting works in Sudan. The council registers firms by technical capability, so this registration is the formal license behind every civil and structural package the company delivers.

Registration No. 72187

Ministry of Justice Commercial Registration

Commercial Registration No. 72187 with the Ministry of Justice establishes Almaroom for Engineering as a Sudanese national business duly registered under the laws of the Registrar of Commerce — the legal identity behind its contracts, bank facilities, and insurance.

Active value-added tax registration

Sudan Tax Authority VAT Registration

An active value-added tax registration with the Sudan Tax Authority keeps the company current with its fiscal obligations — a prerequisite for public-sector tenders and for invoicing international organizations operating in Sudan.
